Ever since a young boy Thomas has spent most of his summer days on the beach at his grandparents’ house where he learned to waterski before most could swim. After 24 years, he still lives for long summer days on the water teaching others what he has learned about watersports. Living in the Lakes Region of NH, Thomas has had the opportunity to visit many different lakes and ride with some of the best people in the watersports industry. He has competed in the New England INT League for Wakeboarding, placing first in his division in 2010. Before college wakeboarding and watersports was just a passion; now watersports is his business! Please give Lake Life Lessons the opportunity to spread our passion for watersports.
Emily spends the summertime living in Moultonborough. She grew up learning how to wakeboard and began wakesurfing a few years ago. In her free time she loves to explore New England, wakesurf with friends, and enjoy time on the lake. Emily is passionate about coaching and loves seeing progress made on the water! During the school year Emily plays lacrosse at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA.
Growing up, Gavyn spent his summers living in Tuftonboro. He started to waterski at the age of four and started to slalom at age seven. Gavyn picked up wakesurfing years later, and spends long days on the boat with his family surfing the summer away. He loves early morning waterski runs, beautiful NH sunsets, and spending time with family and friends on the lake. Over the years of teaching friends and family, Gavyn has developed a passion for teaching watersports and helping people achieve success behind a boat. When Gavyn is not instructing with L3 he plays golf, basketball, and volleyball for his high school. He will be attending Middlebury College next year!
Grace has been wake-surfing for 8 years and rode competitively for 4 of those years. Her father taught her how to surf after learning himself on a thick, classic short board. Grace now favors the skim style board over surf style. One of her favorite skim style tricks is the revert 360, due to the effortlessness of spinning without a fin. In her free time she runs The Grace House, which is her business for customized shoes and clothing. Grace is currently attending college at The New School University in Manhattan, with a degree in psychology and philosophy.
Bruce is from Pennsylvania and spends the summer months living in Wolfeboro. His passion for water sports started at a young age with water skiing and wakeboarding. Later, Bruce picked up wakesurfing from his love of ocean surfing. He enjoys seeing people try different water sports for the first time and progress behind the boat. When Bruce is not instructing he loves to fish, golf, ocean surf, and spend time on the lake with friends. During the school year Bruce attends Elon University in North Carolina.
